An animated cartoon of a pleasant orange cat licking a mail envelope that reads 'e-mail'

🏘️ Other 'Net Hangout Spots 🏘️

A transparent image of a cute, rotund purple bug with six little stick legs and a pair of wings.

Cohost /// Click the bug to see my profile on Cohost. It's a relatively small Tumblr-like community that is mainly used by "indie web" dwellers and developers. I prefer it to Mastodon and Fediverse communities because, in my opinion, Cohost has far more diverse communities and content. The development company that runs it seems pretty cool, too.

Image of a yellow, donut-shaped robot to the left of text that reads 'This user loves the MelonLand forum' on a galaxy background.

Melonland /// The Melonland forum is probably my favorite community spot on the Web right now. There are so many cool discussions and interesting things going on at all hours of the day (except for Mondays). Melon does a wonderful job of running it and the members are all so kind and open-minded. Click the image above to navigate to my forum profile.

Neocities /// Itching to complain right at the source? Click the hard hat cat to open my Neocities site profile in a new browser tab. I love to read feedback about Salty's Lair and any of my other projects!

A cartoon image of an orange and white cat that is smiling, wearing a yellow construction helmet, and is holding a paintbrush and a wrench in both paws.

Status.Cafe /// I love status.cafe; it's such a little cute idea. It's like if a queer kid made Twitter and decided against using it to become a technocratic overlord... but really, I love this concept and also how much freedom there is to customize your page with CSS. You can even embed a customizable widget inside your website! Mine is pasted on the edge of my site. Click here to navigate to my full site profile.
