💌 Contact Salty 💌

In case you couldn't already tell: I love to ramble, yap, what-have-you.. so if you want to talk mutual interests, old web stuff, development, or just want to exchange cool links... I am always down to talk.

I am occasionally open to art trades and collaborative work; please keep in mind that I work on a lot of stuff at once, so I will likely be flaky/delayed in my responses. Just toss me an email and I will get back to you ASAP!

ðŸ“Ļ My email is thesaltedslug at proton dot me. 😊

ðŸĶ‹ I also hangout on Bluesky and the HOUDINI Forum.

Melonland Forum

🍉 The Melonland forum is one of my favorite community spots on the Web. There are so many cool discussions and interesting things going on at all hours of the day (except for Mondays). Melon does a wonderful job of running it and the members are all so kind and open-minded. I'm not as active there as I used to be, but I still stop by once a month!

Itching to complain right at the source? Click here to open my Neocities site profile in a new browser tab. I always love to read feedback (constructive please, I'm fragile) about Salty's Lair and any of my other projects!

Status Cafe

I love status.cafe; I love the concept and the freedom they provide to customize your page with CSS. You can even embed a customizable widget inside your website! Mine is pasted on the edge of my site. Click here to navigate to my full site profile.

Cohost

A transparent image of a cute, rotund purple bug with six little stick legs and a pair of wings.

ðŸŠĶR.I.P.ðŸŠĶ Cohost was a relatively small Tumblr-like community that was mainly used by "indie web" dwellers and developers. I preferred it to Mastodon and Fediverse communities because, in my opinion, Cohost had more diverse communities and content. The development company that ran it seemed pretty cool, too. Unfortunately, Cohost shut down in late 2024.
